Yes! Whether it’s a new home, remodel or commercial space, we build outdoor kitchens, laundries and other custom cabinetry like bathroom vanities, wardrobes and TV units. If you dream it, we can make it!
Yes. We offer a free in-home consultation with one of our accredited designers. The intended outcome of that process is a custom design and price for your project.
An accredited designer of kitchens, bathrooms and interior spaces will make an invaluable difference to your project. It’s easy to fill a space with cabinets, benchtops and drawers, but much harder to make that space both functional and beautiful.
That’s where a good designer is worth their weight in gold. They meet with you in your home and use their experience to come up with design and space-saving ideas.
A great way to start is to research different styles and finishes and make a note of what you do and don’t like. You’ll find lots of inspiration in design magazines and on design focused websites like Houzz and Pinterest. The Leongatha Kitchens & Bathrooms website has an inspiration gallery of completed projects.
The first appointment can either be in-home or at our showroom. The appointment itself usually lasts 1 hour. First, the designer will ask lots of questions to find out about your lives and lifestyle, your needs and requirements, and what’s most important to you. Then they’ll offer professional advice to make sure you’re aware of everything that can be done, and the most suitable styles, finishes, fittings, materials and components.
Sometimes the designer will hold one more meeting to discuss the proposed plans and specifications before providing a price.
Once you are happy with the design and price, you sign a contract, pay a deposit and we get the ball rolling. Next you will sign off on the specifications and materials. We will check-measure the space and order materials.
Manufacture
Manufacturing times vary based on the door cabinet material used.
Colour Board ‐ 2-3 weeks from order
Vinyl (flat or profiled) ‐ 4‐5 weeks from order
2 Pac (flat or profiled ‐ 4‐5 weeks from order
Timber ‐ 4‐6 weeks from order.
Installation
Once your joinery is completed in the workshop and ready to be installed, we agree on an installation date at your earliest convenience. A “standard installation” normally takes an initial 2‐4 days to have the cabinets installed.
If you have stone benchtops, they are templated on day 3-4 and take a further 7‐10 working days to fabricate. Trades can fit off their work on or after day 4 of the installation. Splashbacks can be templated and installed and, in most kitchens, are usable at this point.
The contract signed by you and us is the final price. The only time this might change is when you request to make a design change or add something new. In those circumstances, a variation will be written up, agreed and signed off on again.
Currently we only accept Direct Bank Transfers, Cheque and Bank Cheques. Contact us to discuss payment options.
Yes. We handle the complete project management throughout the whole process. We will organise your job from design to finish, including any trades required (electrician, plumber, tiler, plasterer, builder). Alternatively, we can be flexible and work with you if you would rather organise trades yourself. Whatever you choose, we keep you informed throughout the project.
Every renovation is different, but as a general guide you will be without a working kitchen for around two to four weeks, depending on the scope of works.
There's no firm answer to that question, but we've got a blog article that goes into how much a kitchen or bathroom costs that'll give you a very good idea.
